STORY TITTLE :
Collins Judith is from a Christian home, at age twenty, she's the only surviving child of her parents. Judith is a student, studying economics. She left her parents house and began living in her own apartment at level two hundred, the reason for this is because the house is to far from school and it made her always go late for lecturer's no matter how early she wake's up, so she needed to live close to school. Through her wayward friends, she met a man named Richard Benson when she newly gained admission into the university.
Richard is a man of double shadow, everything concerning the outer part of him is decency, which includes the way he speaks, dress and communicate with people but inside his very demonic. He can not be called imitater of the devil because his the devil himself.
He got to know Judith through her friend's, who's names were Rose, Helen and Angela. Richard is an innocent looking man, he uses good looks and behavior to decieve people most especially, young ladies. He met Judith when she was at level hundred. Richard asked Judith out on a date but she turn him down because she needed to obey her parents instructions.
A day came when Judith needed money to take care of her bills, she informed her parents about it but they told her to be patient and also be prayerful. During that period, Mr and Mrs Collins were having serious issues with their various businesses which made them down financially. They kept telling their daughter Judith to be patient, promising to send the money she needed before the deadline. Seeing her friend's spending money lavish, buying expensive jewelries and clothes, paying their bills without stress, it made her more impatient.
Suddenly, she became carnally minded, all she thinks about are material things, she wanted to spend money like her friend's.
One Thursday afternoon, after lecture's, she met her friend's and all they discussed about were materials things. Judith was told by the holy spirit to draw a line and separate from them but she didn't listen, she assumed the voice as the voice of the devil who doesn't want her to make money. The deadline for her to pay her bills were near, she informed her parents about it again. Of course they don't have a dine to give her but they adviced she pray's about it.
Instead of Judith to do as her parents have instructed, she got angry and accused them for treating her like a slave.
Sitted alone in her room, she began ruminating on her friend's use money lavishly, she asked her self saying" how can I be in this condition when my friends are like ?" .Within a short period of time the devil enveloped her mind and all her taughts were full of neagtivity.
Judith no longer reasoned that as a believer, sinners can never be like you and you can never be like them, light and darkness have no connectivity. Still meditating on material things, she said to herself "let me just join them, afterall, I have been told right from childhood to follow who know road make i no loss". The very time she made up her mind and made this statement, marked the beginning of her downfall.
Few days after, Judith went to visit Helen one of her friend's. She narrated all she have been going through to Helen as she pleaded for assistance. Helen told her to get herself prepared because they would all be attending a party that night. Judith being desperate for material things was fully ready to accept any offer that comes her way.
Few hours later, the day was gone and the night came. Rose, Helen, Angela and Judith were all prepared for the party, they got to the party through Caleb, Helen's boyfriend who came to pick them up with his flash car. At the party she meet with Richard again, this made her sad because she never wanted to set her eyes on him. Angela and Richard knew each other, while they were discussing, she told Richard about the challenges Judith have been passing through, telling him to help her out.
Richard met Judith where she was sitted half naked, he looked at her lustfully. He started having a conversation with her, within few minutes, they were discussing just like close friends. Richard promised to give her money consistently.
Hearing this, Judith got to cloud nine. Wait !
Who must have taken her there ? , No one else but the devil using Richard to do that.
Few minutes later, Richard asked her out, she kept on blushing like someone that have been given the whole world, then she finally said yes to him. Judith was playing with hot fire and she didn't even know, she felt that through Richard, she can live that expensive life she wants because Richard is a rich guy. The party was still going on as Judith enjoyed herself with Richard.
After some time, Richard asked Judith if she can spend the night in his house. All of a sudden, she became scared and wanted to say no. Judith moved her head, facing the direction of her friend's, using eye contact, they told her to accept his request, then she turned to him and said yes.
Few minutes later, Judith said bye to her friend's as she was about living the party with Richard her new boyfriend. Richard drove her home with his jeep, he took her to his bedroom as they both took their bath, shortly, it was time for bed. While in the bedroom, Richard started romancing Judith, she stops him immediately.
Then he began telling her sweet things which got to her head, he promised to take good care of her. All Richard told her made her feel happy, slowly she began accepting what he was doing and few minutes later, they began having sexual intercourse.
Coming to Richard's house to pass a night became a normal thing to Judith as they kept on having sexual intercourse each time she visits.
Judith started missing lecture's, her only focus was to please her boyfriend. Her directions changed completely, she forgot about the main man (her academics) and started chasing shadows (Ungodly relationship's). Her parents noticed she was no longer doing well in school when they saw her results.
They called her attention to know what's wrong, she told them nothing is wrong. Though Judith's parents never ceased from praying for her but she never cared to make amends. All she was told by her parents to do, she neglected them, doing otherwise and seeing it as fun.
Judith always attend night clubs with her boyfriend, she had no time to study because she was always going out with him. It got to a point where her relationship with God suffered depreciation, she began having sex with lecturer's to get good grades. Judith's negative transformation shook so many people, including her parents. Although, she doesn't care, she spend's money lavishly on herself, she have already had abortion twice.
In all these spending, outings and sexual intercourse with Richard, Judith never knew who he truly is.
She doesn't know the source of Richard's income, anyways, she wasn't bothered about that. Richard is a criminal, that's his occupation, he doesn't love Judith. Richard was only playing games with her, using her to pass time and he had other girlfriends of which Judith knew not.
It got to a point where Judith noticed a sudden change in Richard as he began withdrawing from her. He rarely come to visit her as usual, always telling her his is not around whenever she wants to pay him a visit. After some time she got to know that she's pregnant for him again. Her intention was letting him know about the pregnancy but she was unable to get him on phone, so she decided to visit his house unannounced.
Getting to his house, she stumbled into different police officers that tagged her as 'one of their gang', "which gang ?", She asked in confusion but no one replied her.
Judith turned to see her boyfriend and a lady who was almost naked, it was obvious they were having sex before the police officers arrived. At this point she knew Richard have been lying and cheating on her. Richard, knowing fully well that his guilty, he couldn't escape because it was too late for him. Richard, Judith and the lady was arrested for criminal offense, this made Judith speechless, she tried explaining herself but no one accepted listening to her, rather they tagged them all as criminals.
Though, Judith and the lady were innocent but the officers thought they were crimals too.
Within a short period of time, Richard's friends were also arrested as they tried running out the country. The sad news about Judith go to her parents, they were so shocked and disappointed at their daughter.
From the police station, the case was charged to court. Richard and his friends were sentenced to twelve years imprisonment with hard labour, while Judith and the lady was sentenced to seven years imprisonment with hard labour.
Immediately this judgment was excuted, Judith cried out bitterly, her parents left the court in pain, they were so frustrated and disappointed.
Judith regretted all her actions, she regretted the very night she made up her mind to be like her friend's.
The people she called her friend's never showed up to visit her but she doesn't care about that. Judith agreed she's the one that messed herself up and not her friend's.
Few months after, she became due for labour, she gave birth to a baby girl. The baby was taken away from her while she kept on serving her jail term.
Still imprisoned, she drawned into depression. Each and everyday, regretting all her actions, she regrets not listening to the voice that told her to draw a line between she and her friends, she also regret's paying deaf ears to her parents adviceses, also being insensitive to red flags, allowing her flesh control her, chasing after material things that landed her in this big trouble. Weeping bitterly, she asked God for a second chance knowing fully well she messed up.
